Allen Haines was born in Bryan, Ohio. He attended college on a scholarship at Mount Vernon Nazarene College, Ohio graduating with an Associate Degree in Human Services in 1982 and a Bachelor Degree in Sociology in 1983. Following college Allen enlisted in the Army reaching Sergeant early in his initial enlistment. Allen then pursued a Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, served in the National Guard, and Reserve Officers Training Corps graduating Cum Laude and was commissioned in 1988. In 1998 he completed a Master of Arts in Management. Captain Haines has completed numerous military leadership and management courses.
Allen has worked overseas in Germany, Korea, Saudi Arabia twice, and Kuwait twice in addition to Louisiana and Texas. His professional and educational background has allowed him to experience numerous diverse regions, cultures, and religions enriching his lifes experiences.
Allens professional certifications include: Advanced Certified Hypnotherapist from the National Guild of Hypnotists, Registered Hypnologist from the Hypnodyne Foundation, Certified Hypnotherapist from the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, Certified Stress Management Consultant and Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist from Curentur University.
He is a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists, International Association of Counselors and Therapists, American Counseling Association, and American Rehabilitation Counseling Association.
Allen was selected for induction into the Whos Who Registry of Rising Young Americans in 1993 and International Whos Who of Contemporary Achievement in 1995. He has received numerous awards and accommodations from four Nations as an Army Officer.
